CEO & Founder
Roger is a University of Miami Alumni with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and a Master of Business Administration. Roger was employed at Florida Power and Light (FPL) during in 1984 as a co-op in their Thermal Hydraulics Department and upon graduation in 1986; he began his professional career in FPL’s Energy Conservation Group and later as a Supervisor in FPL’s Broward County Customer Service and Sales Group.
In 1991, Roger worked with a Quality Improvement Team to standardized the time measures for FPL’s Air Duct Leak Repair Program. The program was developed with the Florida Solar Energy Center and they determined that by repairing air duct leaks consumers could save up to 27% on their energy bills.
While repairing duct leaks, Roger recognized a common condition on multiple air-conditioners and air duct systems: they were all filled with dirt and suspect mold. He saw the need for a company that would be a specialist in improving indoor air quality through source removal and increasing their energy efficiency of the consumers’ air-conditioning system.
Roger became a State of Florida Licensed Air-Conditioning Contractor #CAC056953 and established DuctMasters to be the solution provider;
turning his passion for detailing cars into designing, selling, building, installing, detailing and maintaining air conditioners and air duct systems.
Our motto is “We provide Clean Air, Energy Efficient Air-Conditioning Systems, for those who care.” This helps our customers reduce their carbon footprint while enjoying a clean, dry and comfortable indoor environment.
Our proprietary HVAC cleaning, decontamination, and restoration process were later validated by the National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA) standard.
