1. Does DuctMasters charge per hour for jobs?List Item 1
Answer: No we do not, we charge flat rate pricing meaning each job has a set price and we do not charge more if it takes longer to complete.

2. Do you guys charge per vent?List Item 2
Answer: No we do not, we charge per A/C system.

3. How long does the process take?List Item 3
Answer: Anywhere from 4-8 hours.

4. How long will my cleaning last?List Item 4
Duct cleaning should be done every 3-5 years according to NADCA. In the meantime you can maintain your cleaning by changing your filters every 1-2 months, having your A/C unit maintenance every 6 months and replacement of your UV light bulb every 2 years.

5. Can I be inside of the home when you guys are doing the duct cleaning job?
Answer: Yes you can, all of our products are environmentally friendly but the A/C unit does have to be off during the job so most of the time our clients prefer not to be home during it. All of our vacuums have High Efficient Particulate Arrestance (HEPA) air filters that keep your air clean by containing all of the debris in the vacuum collection system.

6. Can my pets be in the home during the job?
Answer: Yes they can be but typically it is best to put them away during the service in order to ensure the technicians can work efficiently.

7. Does the A/C have to be off during the job?
Answer: Yes it does.

8. Will there be noise during the job?
Answer: Yes the HEPA vacuum is powerful and loud.

9. Will the technicians clean after themselves?
Answer: Yes they will.

10. Do you guys provide certificates of insurance for my condo/HOA?
Answer: Yes we can.

11. What’s your warranty on the duct cleaning?
Answer: Due to factors we cannot control such as clients forgetting to change their filter or doing construction after our job, we do not have a warranty on our duct cleaning. If after we leave there is an issue then we will be glad to come back within 90 days to see what is going on, but if it is not related to what we did then you will be charged for a service call.

12. Will my home insurance cover the job?
Answer: It depends on the situation, but typically they do not cover it because they believe it is a maintenance issue.
